Soul People: Those of you who've been to stay with us at Soul & Surf Portugal already will have met Nat, our fantastic yoga teacher.

Having first crossed paths with Nat a few years back in Kerala, we jumped at the chance to get her on board as our yoga teacher and some-time surf coach the minute we knew we were setting up home in the Algarve.

And as if we weren’t already keeping her busy enough (!), Nat’s just been awarded a place on the all-female crew for Exxpedition: a voyage researching and raising awareness of ocean micro plastics. During that time, she’ll have the opportunity to sail, collect data and participate in scientific research around hazardous marine litter, which she can then incorporate into her masters final project – maybe even influencing future policies and legislation.

We're super excited for Nat, but she needs a bit of help before she sets sail from Plymouth to the Azores in October: she needs to raise the deposit as quickly as possible.
