Our on-site cafe is called Soul & Surf / Canteen. Good vibes, good food and right on the beach in Ahangama. The defining moments of many people’s stay at Soul & Surf over the years have been the communal, post surf/yoga, meals with like-minded folk round a big table.

Our little bar & cafe – Canteen – serves up street food-inspired quick eats and Sunshine Food, hearty and healthy post-surf brekkies (included for guests) plus a very handsome selection of tropical drinks & cocktails (Tamarind Sour, anyone?)
Open to guests and non-guests alike, we serve up breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our food is a huge part of what we do – we are passionate about creating – and eating – hearty, interesting, colourful food, food that tastes as good as it looks.
Breakfast: 8.30am – 11.30am
Lunch & Dinner: 12.30pm – 8.30pm (last orders)*
*On Mondays our kitchen closes from 12pm for lunch and dinner but we are still open for drinks.
Sunday Sessions @ Canteen
Join us each week of the high season at our Sunday Sessions, for a curated mix of sounds, drinks and a Seafood BBQ taking us into the sunset.
Choose from fish, prawns or tofu for 2000LKR and come along from 3 – 8pm (ish) to enjoy our live DJ’s & bands.

We’re about integrating local produce and local techniques with global cuisine; fusing health with indulgence and always making sure our food looks as beautiful as it tastes.
More than just the menus we create, the meals we cook, the drinks we serve or the ingredients we use; it’s a way of feeding our souls.
So it’s no surprise that we are kind of stoked on serving up food and drinks which inspire you and make you feel good, whether you’re in the water, in the yoga studio or just chilling in the sun.
The core of our menu is Indian and Sri Lankan street food inspired with twists. Just the right amount of naughty indulgence and restorative goodness. That’s what we call balance. Think loaded fries, homemade naan plates and much, much more.

Everywhere we look, we’re surrounded by vibrant and colourful produce out here in the sunshine. This inspires dishes which start as modern twists on Sri Lankan & Indian food and then range further afield - as we take inspiration from sunshine cuisines from around the world, from sunny salads to soulful sides.
